Illager beast instantly breaks all leaves in its hitbox. This means that an illager beast can fall through a tree or a floor made of leaves, and can go through leaf walls. This makes illager beasts in treehouses as pets very impractical especially if the theme of the build is jungle.

I can confirm this "bug", but i will say that it might not be a bug. I think it is a feature for this mob, since it is a beast designed to be a part of gang that robbs and destroys villiges. I also tryed to spawn it in normal blocks, like wood, and it would die of suffication. then I tried with glass, and it did not die, I do not know if this is another bug but it is still to some extent relevant, I then tryed with a non moveble block (by slime) to sufficate it and it died there to. i used the furnace block, which is a inmoveble block (by slime) like the leaves
