on that one it says "Resolved" (and it is not) and the post is since 1.4.4.

The Status field is rarely of any interest. What you should pay attention to is the Resolution field. In the case of MC-610, that's "Won't Fix". You should also read Dinnerbone's comment on that issue: "We actually like the quirks like this."
