Can't throw enderpearls while mounting a horse

I wonder if it is a bug or if it is just a feature, Or something that was forgotten to be coded , in my opinion , the player should teleport and the horse should stay, and all the mobs would attack the horse instead, sacrificing him , but staying alive

It shouldn't happen. If you are on a horse, then the horse would teleport with you, and that would be weird.
