(Snapshot 18w44a) Grass blocks don't generate around water lakes

I generated a new superflat world with the overworld preset to try out the new snapshot features but I discovered that some grass blocks didn't generate around multiple lakes, leaving some grass floating above the water or above a cornflower (as seen in the following screenshots).
