Sticky pistons powered from pushing/pulling face by redstone block

Whenever pushing vertically (pushing redstone up in positive y direction) sticky pistons get powered from the redstone block. Once block update happens, sticky piston is stuck in extended position. If using a double piston extender, the top piston is  extended. It remains extended even if you break the redstone block. When you break the redstone block and top piston, the bottom piston will also extend as if powered even though not receiving a redstone signal. Game breaking. Please fix.
