Horses do not get hurt by mobs

I was riding a horse in survival that I trained, and there were mobs surrounding the area. I ran into them, and the horse didn't get hurt. I did get hurt, but only if it hit me a certain way due to the horse.

I do agree. My point I was trying to make is that the hit box/behavior is off.
