Seeds of any type in daylight with torches and water source right next to them are not growing.

Having same issue. Worked when game started. Stopped working day 20-25, 4.5-5 hours played. Saplings are not growing either. I have removed all but the default textures with no resolution. Will start a new game and see what happens.
UPDATE
Same issue in new game. Guess I'll wait for next snapshot and see what happens then.
Duplicates MC-139693 (fixed).
Turned random tick speed to 1000000, then back. Normally would expect this to instantly grow the crops but this didn't happen.
