[MC-140128] Cannot place blocks in somewhere

I tried so many times, but I still cannot place block at somewhere. Is there something invisible? Or ghost blocks?

There might be an invisible entity there. Does rejoining the world reveal anything?

Please check if that's still an issue for you in the latest 1.14.4 stable release or the latest 1.15 development snapshot.
