Taming a Donkey gives the achievement, "A complete catalog"

What I expected to happen was...:

I expected to not get the achievement.

What actually happened was...:

I received the "A complete catalog" achievement.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new world
2. Tame a Donkey

I had not tamed any other mobs at that point.  I was in creative mode.
