game crash when loading into 18w48b

When I was able to load into the game after this crash I found tht my shulkerboxes xhests and furnaces were empty. a good amount of my build was also taken over by the jungle as well 

What version did you last open the world in before 18w48b?

1.13.1, I've had this world for about a year and it was created as a 1.12.2 world

yes that seems very much like my problem. is there a way to fix it ? the other article linked didn't give a good description of how to fix it .

For 1.14, this is something the developers need to fix. Until then, I'd suggest continuing to play on 1.13.2 (remember to load from a backup, downgrading is not recommended or supported).
