[MC-143288] Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException

When I try to join a server I get kicked directly with different error messages, always starting with Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException.

Is the server you are trying to join unmodified? (ex. servers like Hypixel, the Hive, etc use a modified server software)

Also, what version is the server using?

The server is using a modified server software(bungeecord) and are using 1.13.2.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
