When you right click a chest plate in your inventory, not only do you put on the chest plate but it stays in your hand as well, meaning you have two chest plates.

I'm only reporting this so it isn't abused by other players XD

Are you sure that this isn't Creative mode?

Um. I just tested and yes. It's just Creative Mode.
