[MC-144121] On certain map items, most, or even all of the map is greyed out when you stick it in an item frame or just hold it. Its not all maps, just some.

What I expected to happen was...:
To make a map and it show me a map of the area.

What actually happened was...:
I made a map and it was mostly greyed out.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a map
2. Visit chunks previously not visited before a certain update
3. Use the blank map in the chunk.

Yes, this is a major issue with Snapshot 20w18a, as seen in the screenshots I uploaded.

This is in Creative Mode on Windows 10 version 1909.

Please reopen this bug.

The issue in worlds opened in 20w17a is MC-179858, please refer to that ticket. The issue described there (and shown in your screenshots) (stripes across the map) is different from the one described in this ticket (large grey squares).
