I've heard of bed bugs, but this is ridiculous. For reasons unknown to me, trying to sleep in a bed causes me to be stuck in bed eternally. Pressing "Leave Bed" doesn't work. Waiting for a few seconds doesn't work. You also can't type in chat, but can use already entered commands by hitting up+enter. The only way to get out of bed is to hold Escape until the game menu pops up and hit "Save and Quit", and then reloading the world. Upon reloading, the game proceeds as normal, as if you've slept in the bed. What the heck?

Ok, so this seems to be tied up with the Nether. If I enter the Nether and then die, the bed bugs out and locks me into an eternal sleep until I relog. Also, it appears that I get shunted one block to the left of the bed during the animation. Again, what the heck?

Another correction: The mere act of entering another dimension causes this issue. And after several tests, I can also confirm that you do get shunted one block to the left of your bed. This is absolutely bizarre.
