Minecarts can't go around corners

Minecarts are not able to take turns at all on rails. This has been observed with empty minecarts, hopper minecarts, and minecarts with players. Minecarts get caught regardless of surroundings. Was tested with all combos of tight corners with solid blocks on all adjacent sides, open fields with no adjacent blocks, with regular straight rails and powered rails.

Affected versions of minecraft are java version 19w08b.
