buffet freezes up game and can only be closed with task

when running minecraft and testing buffet and looking at the giant birch forest, and loading the spawn, the game froze, not responding, but not giving any error message. I attempted to close manually through windows mode, but the game did not respond, and gave me the message only when attempting to close. I had to forcibly close it through task and did not get a crash data file except for one that dated back to yesturday, which i shall link. I just want to see the giant birch without locking up my game, please help.
