Whenever I start up minecraft, no sounds work in game or in the start menu. It doesn't matter if I wait for it to work or not 'cause it isn't.
I've had a similar issue since about 1.7 beta. It resolved itself around 1.3 (full release) when I updated to 1.3. However, I just completely re-installed minecraft, and it isn't working anymore.

I did (sorry for the dupe by the way, couldn't find my own bug report after posting it.) and like I said in the other one, it doesn't matter how long I wait. It WON'T play ANY sounds at all.
I've tried re-installing the game completely (about 5 times), restore my computer to an earlier point when it DID work, everything. Nothing seems to work.
P.s: I'm on a windows 7 computer. And it has nothing to do with the mixer - minecraft thing either.
