Audio doesnt switch input

My audio with be on my speakers but then I want to switch it to my headset. I switch it and everything on my pc changes fine but I always have to restart minecraft to get it to switch. Everyone i know is also having the same issue.

Duplicate of MC-44055. This is known behavior. You can work around it by reloading resources (F3+T).
