According to the website, the latest snapshot improves villager AI, but as far as I can see, they are still getting stuck when there's a corner or a block such as a Lectern in their pathway. They also get stuck at something as small as the side of a door, and they keep opening and closing the door, causing a really annoying noise.
It's easy to push them into the door, but they cannot be moved out of corners and they give a hard time pushing them around the Lectern. This is a problem in Survival, where they get killed for being outside at night.
They also do not recognise unoccupied beds near them. Instead, they will stand on top of an occupied bed until it is destroyed, and even then, they will ignore nearby empty beds and go try to sleep with another villager.

They also get stuck on flower pots, trapdoors, and the compost bins next to their farms. They can't be pushed away; they only leave the object be once it is broken. Otherwise they keep trying to go through it. These guys should be asleep like the other one, but they're stuck to the pot. The fisherman doesn't even live here.

They get stuck on fence posts with lanterns next to stairs too.
