I was riding boat in Multiplayer and I looked myself.
I noticed.
My armour wasn't glowing with enchants.
My sword shows it's enchants, but armour doesn't.

Confirmed in 13w21b. Armor glow animations stops, on the other hand enchanted tools held in hand glow just fine.
Happens in 13w16b too. Encahnted armor glows as usual in f5 mode, but as soon as i go in a boat (or minecart horse and pig) it stops glowing. You can still see that teh armor is enchanted, but it does not glow
