Inventory keybind change not working properly

What I expected to happen was...:
To bind my open close inventory key to Tab and player list to E like I normally do and be able to open and close my inventory.

What actually happened was...:
I am able to open my inventory, but not able to close it again using Tab, I can close it using Esc, but I should be able to close it using Tab since it's set as my inventory open/close key, but it doesn't close it and the recipe book button is flickering highlighted when I hold Tab down.

Quick note:

I can open and close my inventory with the same button if I reset it to default, so that E is the button I press to open/close.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press Esc and go to Controls.
2. Scroll down to Inventory section.
3. Change the bound key from E to Tab and change the player list button to not clash with inventory.

4. Go back to game and press Tab to open inventory, then Tab again to try to close inventory.
