[MC-146504] [Mac OS]Cmd + a to select all text doesn't work

On Mac, I can use cmd + c or cmd + v to copy and paste stuff, but cmd + a to select all the text (in chat for example) doesn't do anything. This has been the case for a while now, and I have no clue to fix it. I've tried looking for similar bug reports but I couldn't find any. I don't believe it is linked to the 1.13.2 update, as I remember it not working in previous versions as well.

This issue happens with or without mods.

@violine1101 I'm not too sure of what you mean by that. My laptop has an AZERTY (french) keyboard. Neither cmd nor A is bound to anything within the game!

Ah, that's a known issue with non-QWERTY keyboards then, see MC-121278. You can use Cmd+Q instead of Cmd+A as a workaround.

Thanks for your quick response! Though cmd + Q closes the app on mac so I guess until that issue is fixed, I can't highlight it all at once! Time to wait I guess 🙂
