My friend and I on a server, no matter how we try, cats are not breeding.

Tried cod in survival world didn't work. Tried cod in creative world worked. Tried salmon in the same survival world and still did not work.

Hey, I have been looking into this bug a fair bit and I have a world where they do this bug 100% of the time when within a certain area. I've been trying to find what in this area is causing the issue. Would you be able to upload your world file where this occurred and the coordinate that it happened at?

Also, when it started working for you again you likely were just outside of the area that it was happening since it seems to be due to the proximity of a specific item or block.

Cats are tamed just like ocelots have been before: they need to walk towards you for them to become your pet. If you move too quickly, you'll scare them away.
