Dear Minecraft,
In latest snapshot(19w13b) mob named Enderman can still hit you in Survival through the slab.

Confirmed as of pre-release 5, using trapdoors (they could not hit you in 1.13.2). This also displays the issue of the enderman teleporting randomly.
