The bug
When a fox who is swimming in the water spot a chicken it does its big jump to the chicken which is physically not possible. Also when the water is deep the fox dives underwater and starts drowning after a while because it doesn't try to swim.
How to reproduce
Locate a large open body of water
Summon chickens on the surface of the water (
/summon chicken)Summon foxes on the surface of the water around eight blocks away from the chickens (
/summon fox)
❌ The foxes jump to the chickens, even though they are in water
Expected Behavior:
Foxes would not be able to perform long jumps whilst in water

The Bug:
Foxes can perform long jumps whilst in water.
Steps to Reproduce:
Locate a large open body of water.
Summon some chickens on the surface of the water.
Summon some foxes on the surface of the water around eight blocks away from the chickens.
Watch and observe the behavior of the foxes closely.
Take note as to whether or not foxes can perform long jumps whilst in water.
Observed Behavior:
Foxes can perform long jumps whilst in water.
Expected Behavior:
Foxes would not be able to perform long jumps whilst in water.
