[MC-147576] Open/Close inventory key does not close inventory

The open/close inventory key does not close the inventory when pressed. Pressing esc still closes the inventory however

What is your Open/Close Inventory key set to? Is it set to Tab?

Yes, however the problem persisted when bound to mouse 5. List players is bound to grave (US layout)
