Unable to focus anvil textfield by clicking

It used to be possible to focus the textfield in the anvil's GUI, by clicking in it.

Now, if you click the textfield it never focusses the textfield, but will still reposition the caret if it already has focus. Instead, now only using TAB puts focus on the textfield.

How to reproduce:

• Right-click on an anvil

• Place an item on the left, like e.g. Stone

• Click in the textfield, nothing happens

• Press TAB instead, and an underscore will appear at the end, indicating you can now type
