So I was wondering why my mob grinder didn't work for like a month or 2 then i checked what's happening inside of it and there's light in there (images for more detail)

Try erasing cached data. This will recalculate the lighting in your world.
Select world → Edit world → Optimize world → check "erase cache data" → Backup and load
