I helped a friend get the Java version of minecraft because they wanted to play mods with me and some friends. I helped walk them through the process of installing everything both vanilla and mods. They keep experiencing crashes on startup, only a few instances would it make it to the title screen and even then it crashed. There are no reports or error codes.
Linked below is the exact details of the ordeal. We have tried for several hours yesterday trying to fix it through numerous means with no conclusive results. Any help or spreading of the word would be greatly appreciated.
