Inventory rebind key does not close inventory, only opens

When the inventory key is rebound to a key other than E (in this case, tab), the inventory will not close with the newly-rebound key, it only opens with it. Video attached has the inventory key bound to tab and when the inventory closes, the escape key is used. Issue also persists with other inventory-based menus, such as the crafting table or enchanting table.
