un-resolved. used a test world with drowned in a water cage and the same set up as that particular farm and they do not path find or aggro on the villager. Same with turtle eggs actually they only path find to them maybe a quarter of the time. (as of 8:00 pm PST 5/18/2019)
amendment; further testing showed that they no longer pathfind through glass however they will attack through unattatched glass panes and iron bars
