Placed blocks in villages make game lag to 0 fps for a second then jump back to normal

Placed blocks in villages make game lag to 0 fps for a second then jump back to normal. When I place a block in a village the game lags to 0 fps for everyone in my realms server and then jumps back to normal right away. Weird.
