Villagers teleport player 5-7 blocks away the instant touched. Whenever the player touches a villager, the player is teleported in the exact opposite direction.

Can corroborate this, but it seems to happen with other mobs. I've got a mob grinder and the mobs push the player very forcefully when in water. Minecraft Java Server 1.14 on Windows 10.
