Tree Missing Blocks

I loaded up a new Minecraft world to start playing on the new update.  I spawned in a dark oak biome and looked around.  I quickly noticed that one large oak tree wasn't right.  It was floating in the air with no blocks attached to the ground.  There is no possibility someone removed it as it was a singleplayer world I had just created.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.
