can't close inventory with rebound key

so i have my inventor key mapped to tab and this use to work really well, but when 1.14 came out i noticed that i can't close my inventory with  tab anymore. i could in 1.13 and if i remap inventory to a letter key i can close it with that, just not when it's tab, and i can still open the inventory with tab. this is also happening with things like mouse button 4 and 5, i'm guessing it will happen with any button that's not a letter key.
