if you fly through a new world with an elyctra loading new chunks, sometimes the game will lag behind, and you fall through the world. When the chunks do load in, you are below bedrock. This happened to me on creative, I don't know about survival.

Yesterday when playing on version 1.14.1 sometimes when hit from an arrow from a skeleton or attacked by phantoms I would fall to bedrock. I died a couple of times this way.
