Employed villagers with a lost workplace don't reclaim the nearest available workplace

Villagers with a profession but lost workbench do not reclaim the workbench that is closest to them. This makes dealing with villagers very awkward because a random distant villager can pick up a workbench specifically provided for the villager directly next to it. It would be nice if this could be changed as it would really allow for more flexibility when dealing with where the villagers work and ensuring that they go to the correct house.
