A freshly spawned wandering trader did move with a very high speed, it very difficult to klick him to trade. When you manage to do it he stays. The two Lamas were normal. Other traders had no problems.

"My" trader started speeding after I traded with it. I also have an village close by (with a bell), where there are no way for mobs to path-find in and out. Totally walled in. I use mine-carts to get in and out, a one block high tracked gap.
