release's chunk loading is slower than the 1.14 pre release's

the chunk loading in the pre release were fine with less lag, and no unloaded chunks, but after the release update, so much chunk has gone missing for 30secs or more. and i always find my game lagging while activating pistons or any redstone contraptions that involve a change in the chunks (moving blocks, etc.)
