[MC-150169] Lighting is dim, replace the lighting source and it returns to normal for a while

lighting levels not functioning correctly on all light blocks, removing the Torch/Lantern/glowstone/Beacon and replacing the item restores the light level for that item.

Yeah i get this as well and i noticed that when the lighting bugs out like this it does it for the entire chunk it is in. Very annoying.

EDIT: Also mobs spawn when the lighting bugs out like this, relating to what you said about block light level being affected

This has happened a lot of times especially in complete dark areas

I'm getting this issue as well. Thanks for reporting it! Happens a lot to me upon log in as well. The worst thing about it is that it allows mobs to spawn in areas that otherwise should be completely safe.
