Building with redstone in the new 1.14 update to find my pistons not retracting. With attempts to update the piston and even using levers to try to reset the redstone signal yet resulting in no change to the extended piston. I decided to dig around the piston to show no source of power in the screenshots attached.

I have experienced the same bug and attached some screenshots that allow reproducing the problem, though I only had it with downfacing pistons (both sticky and normal).
Edit: Also I tested it in 1.13.2 and there the pistons retract normally, so this was introduced in 1.14.
