Lights does not light up anything..

We have a base building in a realm, and when leaving it for a while or logging off and on again, the torches and glowstone stop working and does not light up anything around them if not removed and then replaced.. 

Thins means we essentially, from time to time, have a pretty big and poorly constructed spawner..!
