Grass fades under upside-down stairs (except oak wood ones)

Description:

Grass blocks turn into dirt blocks after a while under upside-down stairs. The only exception is the oak wood ones (grass stays grass under them).
As you can see on the following screenshot it's pretty ugly.

To reproduce:

Just place upside-down stairs on grass and wait.

How I think it should be:

Grass should not fade under any type of upside-down stairs.

I think it does that because it counts the stairs as a full block.
Because it thinks there is a block on top it lets the grass die.
This could be fixed if the empty side of the stair was made transparr.ant

The bug is probably the inconsistent behaviour between stair types.

Are these wooden stairs or oak wood stairs where the grass does not decay?

It was only under the oak wood upside-down stairs that grass was decaying, but I tried today with the last snapshot (13w10a) and it seems to be solved (grass doesn't decay under any type of upside-down stairs). On the other hand grass does not seem to spread under them either.

Resolving as fixed, then. Feel free to create a new issue about grass spreading.

(I was referring to the difference between old wooden stairs and oak stairs since the addition of different wood stairs, which are actually different blocks.)
