cant place block in specific voxel

I cant place a block in this space (see image). There used to be a pison (downwards) which disappered (I dont know how). I tried to replace it, but the game does not let me place any block there. Pushing blocks with pisons does not work either. I do not have a collison in this block, it behaves just like an air block.
