problem with hotkey

I have a problem with my controls. My inventory hotkey is on tab but when im in the inventory i cant close it with tab, i allways need to press esc. I think its because tab is normaly for switching the lines and the book in inventory allways gets marked. This came in the version 1.14, before it allways worked and i would be really happy when this works again in 1.14
