Invisible blocks with no hitblox when cloning pistons in

This bug might be related to this bug. If so, I'm sorry for the duplication.

I encountered the bug when cloning in builds with about 20 pistons where some of them might happen to be powered (and sometimes not extended) by the time they were cloned. The bug is that in place of the powered pistons (or in one case, the block they were moving) something that looks like an air block is palced. It acts like an air block in every manner, except that I can not put a block in its palce. The block just willnot palce. I can fix it using setblock or fill.

At the time I didn't think to grab a screenshot ot open debug screen to see what was happening, I hope something can be done regardless.
