Connecting to servers gives End of Stream message if using certain language packs.

Cannot confirm.
Can connect to my 13w18c server, but said server is unreachable.

Apparently it's fine if using English, and just refuses a connection if you're using a custom language.

Unable to reproduce. Please provide the server log.

This might be specific to one feature of a language pack, not the pack itself, so I'll upload it.

Is this an attempt to phase out just naively adding language packs to assets/lang and introducing the "resource packs" mentioned in the warning? And did you remember to switch languages? (BTW, I can play perfectly fine on SSP.)

Funny thing is I tried it with "non-dev" version of that pack (randomly downloaded from the inets) and it worked just fine. So AFAIK it's a problem with the dev pack.

Anyone having this issue, please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.
