I have noticed that having a relatively medium amount of bamboo placed down and growing causes huge amounts of lag on the local end, and on higher end PCs, tons of stuttering.
I have a 14*15 (210) area of bamboo that is only allowed to grow up a few blocks, maybe 3 or 4, and I get horrendous framerates/stuttering when getting within maybe 10-15 blocks of them.
All of the lag immediately dissipates when removing the bamboo with /fill
I'm not sure what exactly causes it in the rendering but it feels like it's being rendered oddly. I do not experience any other even remotely comparable lag with similar amounts of tile entities.
Environment
Minecraft Java Edition 1.14 (On a spigot server, but it's clientside not server side)
Laptop that lags horribly: i5-4200M - GT 750M 2G - 8G ram
High end PC that stutters massively: Ryzen 3 1200 - GTX 1660ti - 16G ram
