We have just updated our server to 1.14.1 and discovered that spawners don't work at all. I've been afk for at least 5 minutes at a skeleton spawner and a blaze spawner, but none of them spawn anything.

What light level is there near the spawners?
Also, make sure you have mob spawning enabled and are not in peaceful difficulty.
light level is at 0, and spawning is enabled. the second i made a rollback to the previous backup from this morning, they started spawning again
Ah, so you rolled back to 1.14? I thought you meant that you rolled back to a previous version of the map.
oh no, i gave up in 1.14.1 and rolled back to 1.14.. the spawner didnt work in 1.14.1, and didnt work after the reroll back to 1.14, but worked again after the reroll to the previous backup, but the spawner did work before i updated to the 1.14.1
