[MC-151763] Hopper minecarts no longer function how theyre supposed to.

when putting a hopper minecart on rails going on top of a furnace, the items dont flow out of the hopper minecart into the furnace. This also doesnt work with the new smokers or blast furnaces. The items essentialy Refuse to move from the hopper minecart into storage objects below them.

This is for 1.14

You need to use a hopper to pick up items from a hopper minecart.

But what is the point of the hopper minecart then if a minecart chest could do the exact same thing but better? If a minecart hoppers only function is storing items so hoppers below can take items out, then why are they even a thing?
